The GD-28X is the marathon runner of the fleet. Measuring in at 1400mm from motor to motor this Ready-to-Fly system is part of our plus size frame collection which features a large center plate for holding 4 high capacity batteries and 50mm booms. It delivers heavy lifting capabilities with high efficiency thanks to x8 high voltage low KV motors that swing 28” carbon fiber propellers. With a maximum takeoff weight of or 62lb this aircraft can easily lift a wide range of custom payloads including professional cinema gear, Lidar sensors, lighting arrays, surveillance equipment or multispectral sensors. This Aircraft also works fantastic at a 55lb take off weight that many countries regulations require UAS to stay at or below. Despite its large size the GD-28X fits into two custom designed cases to help get your aircraft to the most remote locations. Both the GD-28X and GD-40X run on 48v systems and share compatible electronics and arms which allows the users to interchange arm propulsion systems depending on mission requirements, going from endurance runner to power lifter in minutes. BFD Systems versions come with adjustable 12mm payload rail mount to match popular standards set by the DJI s1000 or DJI M600 rail spacing. All aircraft are tested for best performance before shipping. 

What's different about the GD-28x when you buy it from BFD Systems? All our systems are built in house in our US facility. We stock spare parts, offer repairs and have boat loads of experience with these aircraft in many applications. Our systems also come with some of our very own in house engineering improvements available only at BFD Systems. Buying the "same" aircraft from other vendors will not be the same aircraft you buy from BFD Systems. Build quality, support and flight stats are not comparable. Because all aircraft are built to order, and then tested before shipment, please allow 4-6 weeks average lead time.
